Returns Policy
Christmas Returns
For all purchases made through Optimum Sport between October 1st and December 31st, the standard returns window has been extended. Customers will have until January 31st to return eligible items.
Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with any of the products you have brought from Optimum Sport UK you may return unused and unworn goods along with all original packaging and labels within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Please note we do not offer an exchange service items will need to be returned for a refund and reordered.
RETURNS EXCLUSIONS
The following goods may not be returned for a refund or exchange unless faulty:
- Any worn items.
- Any other items of clothing that are not in their original packaging with labels attached.
We do not cover return postage costs, unless, an error has been made on our behalf. We recommend that you use a reputable courier (e.g. Parcelforce for larger items and Royal Mail for smaller items). We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit without proof of postage. Once we have received your item(s) please allow up to 10 working days for us to process your return. Refunds will be made back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, please allow up to 3-5 working days for this to appear in your bank.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
The buyer is responsible for the return of the goods and cost of return postage, and in case of an exchange, the re-delivery costs.
FAULTY GOODS
For purchases under 30 days from the date of receipt, we will exchange the faulty item at our expense. On returning the items, please include proof of return cost so that we can reimburse this charge.
For purchases over 30 days from the date of receipt but less than 12 months old, please send back the faulty item to the address below, along with a covering letter stating the fault, your order number or actual date of purchase and your daytime contact telephone number. Once received we will inspect the item and repair, replace, offer a like for like replacement or return the item if we feel there has been no manufacturing fault. Any items over that period have been purchased outside of our 12 month policy cannot be accepted.
On returning the items please include proof of return cost so that if the item is found to be faulty, we can reimburse this charge.

Is the Inferno top World Rugby approved?
Yes. It's officially World Rugby approved, so it can be worn in competitive matches as well as training.
What does it protect?
It has 12 EVA pads: 10mm on the shoulders and 5mm on the biceps, sternum, back of the neck, ribs and kidneys.
Which size should I choose?
Measure around the fullest part of the chest and use the size finder above. Children's sizes run from Mini (76 to 81 cm chest) to Large Boys XS (86 to 91 cm), and adult sizes from Small (91 to 96 cm) to XXL (116 to 121 cm).
How should it fit?
Tight and snug. A close fit keeps the padding in the right place on the body so it protects properly, and the extra-long body stays tucked in.
How do I wash it?
Take the pads out, then wash the top. Check the care label inside for washing instructions.
Do I still need a mouthguard or headguard?
A protective top covers the shoulders and torso only. Players should still wear a mouthguard, and many also wear a headguard, available in matching Inferno colours.
Can I order for my whole team?

How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Standard UK mainland delivery is free on orders over £35 and takes 2–5 working days.
What if it doesn't fit?
Return it unused and unworn in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, then place a new order for the size you need. Orders placed between 1 October and 31 December can be returned until 31 January.
